Why This Matters:
When you remove the handle and spindle, the weakened mechanism can collapse inside the door, leaving your multi-point lock inoperable. We’re not trying to scare you, we’ve seen this happen many times when we’re called out to fix what was assumed to be “just a handle issue.”
