Locksmithing around Coventry, Warwickshire, and Solihull: busy day today.
- Off to Nuneaton for the first job of the day, to open a jammed bathroom window and replace the locking mechanism.
- Next, on to Coventry to a customer who had just purchased a property and asked me to repair a garage door lock, an old Z.A. System, and realign a UPVC door.
- After this, I then went up the road to Westwood Heath, where a customer had requested to set of French doors to have all 4 locks work off the same key. I built the locks by hand on my unique high-security Evva EPS section – they really did look the business.
- Next stop, Balsall Common, to open a failed internal door; the tubular latch had disintegrated, and it was opened and replaced. They had them back in their dining room in no time.
- Then, on to Dorridge to fit some extra security onto four UPVC doors.
- Finally, on to Sheldon to assist a customer who could not lock their UPVC door; it had come out of alignment, so I put that right and gave the locking system a bit of a service.
All in all, a lovely, varied day’s work
All jobs are completed in one visit with no by-the-hour charges, as all are at a fixed price. I am very fortunate to have a job I love, which is locksmithing around Coventry, Warwickshire, and Solihull. It’s not all about making money with me, it’s about being busy and out and about. Doing the job I love and meeting people
